The last day of August saw us fly out to Dublin for the final trip of the year, after a great flight in from MAN on EI-FTD we were quickly greeted with our first WestJet 737-700, and then a very rare one: Norwegian Boeing 737MAX EI-FYE! So happy I got to see this, even just parked! Anyhow we arrived on the spotting mound around half 9 and caught the usual Dublin movements, which includes a lot of heavies! The best of which being the American 787, Delta 767-400 and Air Transat A310. Moving into the afternoon we were greeted with some nice 737’s, a Cello -300 and my first full livery Travel Service -800. To finish off we got an exceptional landing shot of the Etihad Blue Moon Rising/Man City livery A330
We then decided to walk back to T2 since we had plenty of time to kill and nothing else decent was due, the walk itself only took about 20 minutes and was pleasnt enough, and safe to do, it took us right under the approach path where I got a couple of nice shots. Then it was through to T2 departures where we got some spectacular spray shots, followed by EI-DUZ making its emergency landing. Due to this there was a brief switch on to Runway 16 when I was able to get a nice shot of the Ethiopian 787 vacating!
All in all it was an amazing day at Dublin, as it usually is. This particular visit was possibly my favourite bar the Storm Barbara day, both flights were amazing, and the day brought some spectacular movements, I always love filming, editing and posting these DUB videos and it seems you guys love them too as they always seem to do well! I have to say this has been my favourite spotting compilation so far!
Look out for the return flight video on Aer Lingus A320 EI-DER coming soon!
Also thank you to Ray and James for coming along on the trip!
Thanks for watching!
